through the help of our community.
Large number of refugee families are uprooted from their homes every year. Your support goes a long way, as they start over in the United States having nothing of their own.
Compassionate members of local communities, congregations, schools and organizations welcome refugees and immigrants in many ways:
We need day-to-day hygiene supplies, baby products and toiletries for newly arriving refugee families.
Refugees get a limited one-time allowance towards their resettlement which is not enough to start over given the rising cost of living. Your financial contributions support the neediest of refugee families that run the risk of falling into poverty and homelessness.
LSF needs volunteers to stage, sort and deliver donated household items that transform empty houses into warm, safe, stable homes for newly arrived refugee families.
Mentoring refugees during acclimation to their new homeland.
